Fresh and delicious Smoothie

We at Katla recommend freshing up your smoothie with a few vanilla drops of Katla.
Mmm … you will not be disappointed!

  • ½ banana
  • 1 dl frozen blueberries
  • 1 dl frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla juice
  • Water

Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix everything in the delicious and mix fresh smoothie.

Chocolate truffels

Chocolate truffles are a simple and delicious treats for any occasion.

Preparation:

  1. Break 300 gr. dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Mix 50g of butter and 300ml of cream and bring it to boil and pour over the chocolate.
  3. Stir until the chocolate has melted. For sweeter truffles, add a little brown sugar. Adittionally the delicious Katla drops can be used depending on the taste (vanilla, rum, lemon, orange, peppermint, almond).
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Make small balls from the dough and cover it with Katla cacaopowder. The truffles then can be decorated with what you think is nice and beautiful (nuts, dried berries, etc.)
  5. Store in a refrigerator and then stand on the table for 30-60 minutes before serving.

Chocolate cake

Katla chocolate cakes never last for long!

(Oil can be used instead of butter and water instead of milk)

Ingredients:

  • 275 ml cold milk
  • 80 g. melted butter
  • 1 package of Katla cakemix
  • 3 eggs

Preparation:

  1. Pour the milk (water) and butter into a bowl
  2. Put the cakemix into the bowl with the eggs
  3. Stir it for about 2 minutes
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased form and put it in a 180 ° C hot oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Let the cake cool for about 10-20 minutes
  6. The chocolate glaze: Melt the chocolate over a water bath and stir it. Cool slightly and put on the cake
  7. Garnish the cake in the way you like it.

Hot chocolate

Hot chocolate in Katla’s way.

Preparation:

  • 2 dl of water
  • 45 gr Katla icingsugar
  • 2½ tbsp Katla cocoapowder
  • ¼ tbsp Katla salt
  • ½ l milk
  • ⅛ l cream

Bring the water to boiling with cocoa, icing sugar, salt and then add the milk and cream. Soak with whipped cream and enjoy!
